Mariana is a member of the orchestras Taconeando and A lo D'Arienzo and performs in several ensembles.
Tango is a partner dance and social dance that originated in the 1880s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay. The tango was born in the impoverished port areas of these countries from a combination of Argentine Milonga, Spanish-Cuban Habanera, and Uruguayan Candombe celebrations.

Mariana continues to study tango performance with pianists Adrián Enriquez (Argentina) and Álvaro Hagopian (Uruguay).
As an educator, she teaches Chamber Music and works as a collaborative pianist at the University School of Music in Montevideo, the National School of Lyric Art of SODRE, and the Youth Orchestra of SODRE. She is also a pianist for the SODRE Symphony Orchestra and the Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Her discography includes Sueños (2018) with Andrés Martín, influenced by Rioplatense music, and ...Y el tango se hizo mujer (2024) with Che Papusa Dúo, a project celebrating female tango composers, supported by the National Music Fund.
